Hydrostatic testing is the most common method employed for testing pipes and pressure vessels, helping maintain safety standards and durability of a vessel over time. The test involves filling the vessel or pipe system with a liquid which is usually water.
We recommend using MVAqua® Protective as an additive to the hydrostatic test fluid (minimum of 5%) protecting the equipment against corrosion caused by water or by the environment.
